i heard this song on a sunday night driving home from somewhere on the radio. it was the time of night where they play new music, a lot of radio stations do the same thing. this song put me in a odd mood. funny how music can alter you state of mind so drastically.

so my school friend turned pretty much best friend is moving to new york in june. i normally dont like to think about it because i know im going to miss the living daylights out of her, (idk why i just decided to talk like a 70 year old woman right there) but im not going to lie i am going to have fun visiting her.

i saw this band early summer/ late spring in dallas before i moved out to California and fell in love. i would rarely buy cd's a shows i would go to because i went to so many but these guys were pretty entertaining. the whole cd is so good i listened to them for like a month straight. they are perfect for when you are getting ready in the morning and you need a pick me up. i have found that if i listen to happy/ make me wanna dance around in my underwear music in the morning it make my day better.

i really wish i had the time and more skills to make videos. i want to be the art director for music videos. (the art direction for this video was by wes bruce) i think its the next step after photography. the whole reason i got into photography is because i was taking pictures of things i wanted to paint but then with me being a perfectionist i could never get the painting to look EXACTLY like the photograph so i gave up painting and moved to photography. now the same thing is happening with photography .. i want to be able to show more of a story. making it even more visual. i wish i was a millionaire so i could just be creative everyday and not have to worry about real life.

this might change but on fridays i want to post a music video or just a song that really just sit in awe of. i feel like my music selection has become very one sided as of lately (primarily rap .. well ignorant rap to be precise) and i want something new. so fridays will be the days i will be on the hunt to broaden my horizons. if you have something for me that you think i might like or even if you think its pretty cool and would like to share by all means share away!
