so im not a huge fan of one shoulder anything but i absolutely love this dress from Spotted Moth. the colors of this dress are so gorgeous and warm it makes me this of a summer sunset sitting on the sand. if i did, however, watch the sunset in this outfit on the sand i would most definitely have to take my shoes off. walking in wedges in the sand seem a little disastrous especially with how ridiculously clumsy i am. i paired this dress with very organic gold jewelry, like the earrings i found over at Mooreaseal’s shop, to compliment the earthiness of the dress’s fabric. remember if you click on the picture it will get big enough for you to see how much each item is and who designs it.

i think i need to go to PAA (pattern addiction anonymous) JUST KITTEN (sound it out in your head .. it will make sense) long maxi dresses are in this season so of course wanting to stay fashion forward, (i could really care less how “in season” i am to be quite honest) chose this lovely number from modcloth. pairing it with other random finds like these super cool earrings from etsy and this amazing little ring from Golden Ink. and of course the shoes .. jeffrey campbells. i just really want a pair. im obsessed. maybe after my PAA class i can find one for jeffery campbell addiction.

yes i would like to wear those pants. i think it would be fun. mostly all i want to say this week is all i want in my life is a pair of jeffrey campbell’s in my freaking life already. i need more money :( damn you student loans!

so i would like to own this bathing suit. of course if i had it my way i would have it in color but they only offer it in black or white.

i love this outfit. of course i say that every week. the thing i love most about outfit is how simple it is. the dress is simple, the accessories are simple and the shoes are a twist on a classic. i would wear this just about anywhere. if you ever are interested on reading the type on here so you can see where i found all of the components of this outfit, just click on the picture and it will make it bigger.

although this isnt as daring as my original outfit, i still would wear the crap out of it! i feel like this less harsh/nautical outfit could take a normal day and and make it just a bit brighter. to be honest i feel like this outfit fits me better only because i am so not a black-wearer in the least bit. i love color way too much to not be covered in it!

so like i said here, it was pretty hot. i wish i would of worn something a little more ventilated. i have talked about pairing patterns in other post and how you should keep a color theme and thats what i have done here. my color palette is black, white and blue. seeing how the actual outfit is pretty loud, i kept it pretty tame with the accessories. and although those sugar skull earring arent as cool as my virgin mary earrings they are still pretty awesome.

this outfit im in love with. i want it so bad. thats the worst thing about doing these little suckers is it kinda depresses me :( like i have said before i love combining super girly pieces with completely opposite accessories. you cant really see but this dress has little black bows all over it so i wanted to make it less girly so i paired it with this amazing Hon Cholo necklace, studded knuckle ring, and a single rowed studded belt (more than one row with this outfit would be over kill, yes i am trying to make it look less girly but im not trying to look like a sceney baby) the shoes and earrings bring in a pop of color which i think is a refreshing touch from the very basic color pallet.

sticking with the theme of the outfit i actually wore, i wanted to stay comfy. i love pairing patterns. there are certain rules though with doing that. first off pick a color scheme. you cant do lots of color and then on top of that lots of patterns. i mean ive seen it done but its hard. this color scheme is pretty tame. im bringing some color in with the accessories but still keeping it minimal. i love anything two toned, hence the tights.

so (im hoping) on every wednesday i will post a compilation of garments that i have put together as if money was no option. tell me what you think, if you like it or not, or just look at it .. that works too. this of course is something i would of loved to wear on new years. its the one time of year you can get a little wild with your outfit.
